Genova

GENOA

Genoa is romantic and beautiful old port town in Northern Italy. It is a birth town of Christopher Columbus and used to be a significant power centre during the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

The old centre is hilly and cosy with labyrinth streets and chic port area, but outside of the centre you find Corso Italia - Genoa's main promenade along the sea. There are numerous small beaches, bars, restaurants and swimming pool areas along the promenade.

Genoa's commercial centre.

Genoa's old town is very atmospheric, with darkish and narrow labyrinth streets. There are numerous shops, cafés and bars hidden in the small alleys.
